Rabbi Yaakov SalomonRabbi Yaakov Salomon, C.S.W. is a noted psychotherapist, in private practice in Brooklyn, N.Y. for over 25 years. He is a Senior Lecturer and the Creative Director of Aish Hatorah's Discovery Productions. He is also an editor and author for the Artscroll Publishing Series' and a member of the Kollel of Yeshiva Torah Vodaath. Rabbi Salomon is co-author, with Rabbi Noah Weinberg, of the best selling book “What the Angel Taught You; Seven Keys to Life Fulfillment,” (Mesorah), and is also the co-producer of the highly-acclaimed films, “Inspired,” and “Inspired Too; Kiruv Across America.” His most recent book is “Something to Think About; Extraordinary Reflections About Ordinary Events (Mesorah).” His speaking, writing and musical talents have delighted audiences from Harvard to Broadway and everything in between. Rabbi Salomon shares his life with his wife, Temmy, and their unpredictable family. |

Rabbi Daniel MechanicRabbi Daniel Mechanic is the Founder and Director of Project Chazon. In addition to being a world-renowned lecturer on topics related to Kiruv Rechokim, he is also recognized throughout the Orthodox Jewish world as an authority on "at-risk" teens. After 12 years of study at Yeshiva Kol Torah, Yeshiva Gedolah of Passaic, and Yeshiva Torah Vodaas, Rabbi Mechanic joined Rabbi Noach Weinberg of Aish HaTorah in 1981 and became a kiruv professional. Trained by Aish, he spent the next 15 years working as the Director of Aish Hatorah/Discovery, where he presented hundreds of seminars and inspired thousands of ba’alei teshuva. In 1996, Rabbi Mechanic decided to assist the Yeshiva high schools in reinforcing and strengthening the Yiddishkeit of their students. Through his Project Chazon, he began to present comprehensive seminars on the Yesodei HaEmunah to Yeshiva and Bais Yaakov high school students and teachers throughout the United States, Canada, and England. His inspirational Hashkafah Shiurim are presented in over 270 schools, with the endorsement of leading Gedolim, Roshei Yeshivos, and Principals worldwide. His fascinating and unique programs have been a source of chizuk and hisorerus for over 125,000 Yeshiva students. Rabbi Mechanic also provides individual counseling and mentoring to hundreds of troubled young men and women. Rabbi Mechanic presents numerous workshops to parents and mechanchim. These inspiring sessions address the issue of winning children's minds to the truth and beauty of Yiddishkeit. He has been invited to speak at many major conventions and dinners throughout the United States, and has served as a scholar-in-residence at shuls and other Pesach programs throughout the country. Dr. Jonathan LassonOne of Baltimore's most well-regarded clinical psychologists, Dr. Jonathan Lasson has been a popular and well-attended speaker at our previous programs. Specializing in children, adolescents, and pre-marital couples, Dr. Lasson's wisdom, approachable style, and use of humor, has been enjoyed by many of our guests in the past, and was often requested by them to return this year. Dr. Lasson is also the multi-talented Director of our EdenTours Boys Choir, and a very enjoyable baal tefilah, as well. |
