Youth Program

“I couldn’t believe how our kids loved your camp!”

These comments represent the general consensus of our parents about the EdenTours Youth Program. Staffed by talented, responsible, high-level counselors, and with creative, innovative programming, our camp is sure to be a huge success. Housed in the Conference Center, and utilizing all of the amenities of the hotel, your children will not only love being in camp, but they will have the opportunity to establish close relationships with new friends and, counselors.

We are pleased to announce that EdenTours Camp Magid will once again be under the capable tutelage of Mrs. Shira Lieberman, the beloved former Program Director of Camp Sternberg. Shira's exuberance, energy and charm will surely contribute to an outstanding camp experience for our families in 2008!

Our very popular Toddler/Tot program will give our young mothers, the opportunity to attend shiurim while their young children are taken care of by our able staff of early childhood counselors.

We will also provide late night structured activities for our older children, to ensure that they are occupied at night in a constructive manner. Plans are also being developed to expand our Teen Program, in innovative ways that will allow our teenagers to feel that their needs are being addressed, as well.

We will be offering the following activities throughout the program:

Babysitting

A team of mature, responsible teenagers and young adults will be available for infant care and babysitting during Shiurim and select times during the program. Private, in-room babysitting will also be available during night activities and other time periods, upon request.

Day Camp

A full range of fun-filled activities will be offered during Shabbos and YomTov mornings and afternoons, including organized games, learning programs, drama, dance, singing as well as tiyulim to nearby parks and playgrounds. A huge assortment of board games will also be available for individual and small group enjoyment. For the younger ones, we will even be having a fun-filled Charoses and Matzo Cover making event Erev YomTov, to prepare for the Sedarim!

On Chol Hamoed, each day will feature a different adventure to nearby attractions, including Bayville Adventure Park ,the Long Island Zoo. as well as our Grand Carnival Finale

A week of memorable fun and excitement will be enjoyed by all!

Teen Programs

Separate Programs for teenage boys and girls will be supervised by talented young adult men and women who will be leading discussion groups, learning programs, group games and outings to many of the above attractions.
